2019 NAMM Show Report
January 2019: Eleven Dimensions Media wasted no time jumping into 2019 with another successful NAMM Expo in Anaheim, CA! Things were hopping in the booth – which featured twice the real estate of last year's, and provided plenty of room for the ever-expanding selection of products from our suppliers: Audified, ESI Audiotechnik, PSI Audio, SoundRadix, Teknosign, and Zynaptiq.
In our larger space, we showed off the latest products, gave demos, answered tech questions, visited with curious artists, musicians, and producers looking for their next piece of gear, and had special visits from VIPs, and ran into friends new and old!

SoundRadix reps visited NAMM all the way from Tel Aviv – and showed off their latest Auto Align Post software, which offers the fastest and simplest way to get location mics in phase. Auto Align Post got a warm welcome from audio engineers who have run into the problem of destructive phase cancellation in their work, and were amazed to find such an easy-to-use, effective, and focused tool to deal with it.

PSI Audio's CEO Roger Roschnik visited Anaheim all the way from Switzerland, to show off their latest high-precision handmade studio monitors. They showed the soon to be released A-23M a new 3-way monitor, and the A-21M V4 – a remake of the classic Studer Professional A3, one of the most accurate 2-way monitors on the market. More info coming soon on these new PSI products!
Zynaptiq
Zynaptiq CEO Denis Goekdag and Product Specialist Felipe Angeles Hamann came to NAMM to show off their brand-new award-winning INTENSITY plug-in, and the mind-bending WORMHOLE plug-in – also nominated for a TEC Award in the category of Signal Processing Software/Effects.
VIP Visits
The NAMM Show is always a good place to run into some of our favorite artists. This year, we were lucky to catch up with Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater, Derek Smalls from Spinal Tap, composer/producer CJ Vanston, musicians KJ Sawka from the bands Pendulum & Destroid, and Alex Esquivel (aka A_Rival) and Helen Eugene from Super Square.
Zynaptiq Nominated for TEC Award – Wins SOS Best New Software Award!
January was an exciting month for Eleven Dimensions software supplier Zynaptiq, whose WORMHOLE sound design software was nominated for a prestigious TEC Award, in the category of Best Signal Processing Software (Effects). WORMHOLE is especially popular with sound designers, who have been using it for creating other-worldly effects for some of today’s most popular movies and TV shows.
While the win ultimately went to our friends from SoundToys, Zynaptiq's new INTENSITY mastering software was also nominated and won Sound-on-Sound Magazine's Best New Software Plug-In of 2019 Reader's Award. This award is very meaningful as it's based on reader/user feedback and votes – people who actually bought, use, and enjoy the product. (Shown alongside 2018's TEC Award nomination for Zynaptiq's Adaptiverb).
