Two Plugins, One Package
RZ062A Module
The middle knob rotates the frequency curve around the central point of 650 Hz. When you raise the bass frequencies, the trebles get lowered simultaneously and vice versa. |
RZ062B Module
The RZ062B works a bit differently. Its presence knob lets you choose one of four frequencies and adjust their gain accordingly. This parameter helps your sonic material to cut through the mix very gently. |
Recreating the magic

To create RZ062, we had to carefully emulate more than 200 circuit components. These highly precise analog circuits made the original units so special – and thanks to our hardware and modeling know-how, the plugin is just as special.

Blast from the past
|
The RZ062 Equalizers were designed in Germany almost 60 years ago for installation in mixing consoles, together with the Ua73B Compressors and other ingenious valve-based modules of that time. European studios used them to modify the recorded sound’s frequency characteristics and eliminate undesired studio acoustics. But their complex valve circuits bring something much more attractive: The incredibly subtle sound color, which is highly sought after in modern recording projects.
